about the Coventry Diocese
The Diocese of Coventry consists of all the Church of England churches and chaplaincies serving the people of Coventry and North Warwickshire, including Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington, Stratford upon Avon and Shipston, and the surrounding suburbs and villages.
The diocesan strategy is summarised as threefold: worshipping God, making new Christians and Disciples, and transforming communities.
Christian learning is chiefly provided through a range of modules that comprise the Bishop's Certificate in Discipleship. Each module can be taken separately, and is available at different locations, where the local church(es) have secured a viable number to undertake the course.
Helping people to learn and grow is viewed as an important contribution to helping Christians to serve God's mission in the world.
